Acting as the frontline representative for our customers, this role is dedicated to addressing issues promptly, delivering timely resolutions, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. What You’ll Do:Customer Support &amp; Documentation<ul><li>Coordinate and support service activities to ensure timely resolution of customer issues.</li><li>Respond to customer inquiries and help to resolve technical problems.</li><li>Assist with service scheduling, planning, logistics, and resource allocation.</li><li>Coordinate with Sales, Logistics, and Operations to support customer requirements.</li><li>Maintain service records, repair documentation, and standard operating procedures.</li><li>Act as a senior technical resource for service technicians and production team members. </li></ul>Process Development<ul><li>Work with engineering to develop customer service and support processes and technologies.</li><li>Experience or interest in working with AI to develop workflows and procedures.</li><li>Collaborate with engineering and sales to manage and track customer problems and resolutions.</li><li>Identify and implement opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, and service processes. </li></ul>Team Collaboration<ul><li>Promote a positive, collaborative, and safety-focused work environment.</li><li>Support training, mentoring, and knowledge sharing within the team.</li><li>Lead by example in maintaining high standards of workmanship, quality, and customer service. </li></ul>What You'll BringRequired Qualifications<ul><li>5+ years of customer-facing responsibilities in a technical organization.</li><li>Experience with battery and power conversion technology an asset.</li><li>Experience troubleshooting industrial electrical and control systems.</li><li>Bonus: Experience working with generators, power systems, switchgear, power distribution equipment, or similar technologies. </li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Experience leading, mentoring, or coordinating technical teams.</li><li>Experience working directly with customers</li><li>Experience in manufacturing, production, or custom equipment environments.</li><li>Experience working with engineering teams on product development, prototyping, or product improvement initiatives.</li><li>Take initiative and is resourceful.</li><li>Excellent communication and organizational skills</li><li>Proficient in writing reports and keeping good records.</li><li>Always professional and diplomatic. </li></ul>What Makes You Successful<ul><li>Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Excellent communication and customer service abilities.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>High attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.</li><li>Collaborative mindset with a willingness to support team success and continuous improvement. </li></ul>Location: This is a role working out of our Vancouver, BC officeSalary: $55K to 75K annually, dependent on experience Why Choose Portable Electric  At Portable Electric, you’ll have the opportunity to work with a talented team, building innovative power solutions while taking an impactful role in both production and service operations.
