<ul><li><div><div><div><div><div>Job Description</div><div><div><div><div><p><b>Project Operations</b></p><p><span>1.     </span> Assist with the preparation of the G&amp;T, Pacific annual budgets, and quarterly forecast. </p><p><span>2.    </span> Monitor actuals vs target and contribute to the sub-sector meeting its monthly and annual targets.</p><p><span>3.    </span> Assist with preparation of annual, monthly operations and bi-weekly status reports for the sub-sector. </p><p><span>4.    </span> Manage the G&amp;T SEAP Projects accountants and ensure that the team’s <span>tasks, deliverables,</span> and targets are met, if required. </p><p><span>5.    </span> Adhere strictly to SMEC’s Business Management System (BMS), Quality <span>Management Systems</span> (QMS) and OH&amp;S procedures. </p><p><span>6.    </span> Ensure that corporate reviews, approvals, and compliance requirements are met and complied with.  </p><p><span>7.    </span> Any other relevant duties as assigned. </p><p></p><p><b>Project Control &amp; Management:</b></p><p><span>1.     </span> Assist G&amp;T in ensuring G&amp;T project win and delivery activities. </p><p><span>2.    </span> Oversight support in management and project implementation, specifically monitoring the financial health of projects vis a vis contract and budget and provide timely actions as issues arise.  </p><p><span>3.    </span> Ensure WIP and Debtors are kept at minimum, closely working with country leads, project coordinators, project managers and client, providing necessary actions and resolution for issues encountered.</p><p><span>4.    </span> Provide inputs to the PPR and flash reports in coordination with the operations manager, finance team, <span>project coordinators</span> and project managers </p><p><span>5.    </span> Ensure Epicor project plans are up to date </p><p><span>6.    </span> Ensure that Project compliance requirements are in place (Approvals, PMP, PDS, <span>Risk Management,</span> Project Workspace, Supplier Registration, Due Diligence etc.), </p><p><span>7.    </span> Ensure contractual obligations are met. </p><p><span>8.    </span> All accounting, reporting and financial business support services related to the SMEC operations across G&amp;T SEA &amp; Pacific.  </p><p><span>9.    </span> Hold accountability of the integrity of accounting transactional data, adequacy of entity business controls and conformance to corporate, internal and external policies.</p><p></p><p></p><p><span><b>Key Performance Indicator</b></span></p><p><span> </span></p><ul><li><span>G&amp;T SEAP Lead satisfaction with the services provided</span></li><li><span>Brand awareness and SMEC cultural development,</span></li><li><span>Quality, professionalism, technical innovation and excellence,</span></li><li><span>Achieving budget, overhead, and contribution at the project level,</span></li><li><span>Achievement of debtors’ age which is an indicator of swift payment of invoices on ongoing and new projects,</span></li><li><span>Project commercial delivery to meet client’s contract with SMEC and SMEC’s expected financial contribution,</span></li><li><span>Commercial awareness, timely submission of invoices and financial reports, reduction of lock-up,</span></li><li><span>Management of overhead budgets,</span></li><li><span>Promoting staff development and project team management, and</span></li><li><span>Systems development.</span></li></ul> <p><span><b>Key Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Experience</b></span></p><ul><li><span>Tertiary qualification - Preferably a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Management or in similar field from an accredited university/college with at least 5-7 years solid working experience in Finance/Accounting.</span></li><li><span>Ability to write effectively in English to furnish reports and to prepare business development materials including proposals.</span></li><li><span>Experience in a Shared Services or BPO environment, an advantage.</span></li><li><span>Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software or financial reporting software is a plus.</span></li><li><span>Candidate should have sound Finance and Accounting skills, including knowledge of best practices on any or all areas of accounting such as AR, AP, Cash, and <span>Reconciliation. </span></span></li><li><span>Can work with minimal supervision and has a leadership potential.</span></li><li><span>Ability to cope with ambiguity and change and maintain high level of professionalism when working under pressure. </span></li><li><span>Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills within a multi-cultural business environment.</span></li><li><span>Project Management and hands-on experience, encompassing administrative, commercial and technical aspects, in delivering within project-based budgets and timelines.</span></li><li><span>Good interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively within a culturally diverse and multi-disciplinary environment,</span></li><li><span>Sound knowledge of Quality Assurance (QA).</span></li><li><span>High level communication skills.</span></li></ul></div></div></div></div><div>Additional Job Description</div><div><div></div></div><div>Job Families for Job Profiles</div><div><div><div><div>JF_Administrative &amp;
