In this role, you will collaborate with a diverse group of team members to manufacture precision components that advance our mission to decarbonize industrial processes through innovative hydrogen technology.</p><p>This position is based onsite in Devens, MA and reports to the CNC Supervisor.</p><p><strong>Primary Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li style="line-height:2;">Interpret dimensioned part drawings to determine the appropriate machine tools, workholding, cutting tools, and inspection equipment</li><li style="line-height:2;">Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC lathes and mills, including making program offset edits and machine adjustments as needed</li><li style="line-height:2;">Perform complete machining operations from setup through production, including tooling setup, program proofing, part loading, and teardown</li><li style="line-height:2;">Inspect in-process and finished parts using precision measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and hard gauges</li><li style="line-height:2;">Identify manufacturing bottlenecks and recurring production issues and recommend process improvements to increase shop efficiency</li><li style="line-height:2;">Monitor machine performance and identify maintenance or safety concerns before they impact production</li><li style="line-height:2;">Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following established manufacturing procedures and quality standards</li><li style="line-height:2;">Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to support continuous improvement initiatives</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li style="line-height:2;">5+ years of experience as a CNC machinist with expertise operating both CNC lathes and mills</li><li style="line-height:2;">Demonstrated ability to independently set up, operate, troubleshoot, and optimize CNC milling machines for complex precision parts</li><li style="line-height:2;">Strong proficiency using precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, hard gauges, and height gauges</li><li style="line-height:2;">Ability to accurately read and interpret mechanical drawings and communicate drawing requirements to others when needed</li><li style="line-height:2;">Working knowledge of G-code and M-code with the ability to edit CNC programs</li><li style="line-height:2;">Experience monitoring machining equipment and recognizing maintenance or safety issues</li><li style="line-height:2;">Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, push heavy carts or crates, and perform physical activities including reaching, kneeling, stretching, and crawling as required</li><li style="line-height:2;">Comfortable using computers for retrieving and recording production information</li></ul><p><strong>Schedule</strong></p><p>This role is available on either 1st or 2nd shift:</p><ul><li>1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM</li><li>2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM<ul><li>10% second shift pay differential</li></ul></li></ul><p>Both shifts include a 30-minute paid lunch break.
