We empower and support our employees to pursue their fullest potential and provide meaningful avenues for personal and professional growth.<h2>Who we are looking for</h2>You will be responsible for the design and analysis of battery packs and will lead teams of multi-discipline engineers. You will have a direct role in key decision-making to bring to market a portfolio of Re:Build battery packs for many industries. This position will encompass all program cycles including concept design, prototyping, detailed analysis, modeling, drafting, manufacturing, and testing. You will use detailed performance simulations to model critical performance. You will quickly develop CAD and/or prototype models and present quality results to customers and other partners. This position will require you to collaborate between program management, analysis, procurement, and manufacturing teams. To be successful in this role strong presentation and communication skills are a must.<h2>What you get to do</h2><ul><li>Lead the product design and development for industry changing Re:Build battery packs.</li><li>Communicate across engineering teams to make program critical decisions.</li><li>Identify core issues, develop solutions, and effectively communicate the impacts across internal and external teams.</li><li>Create and deliver CAD models and presentations to customers.</li><li>Develop supporting material for design such as bill of materials, assembly, or installation procedures.</li><li>Ensure compliance to standards and battery pack performance needs.</li><li>Work multi-functionally to verify battery software and hardware meet the system needs and battery pack requirements.</li></ul><h2>What you bring to the Team</h2><ul><li>3 or more years of system design for lithium-ion battery packs or related technologies.</li><li>Minimum 6 years of engineering experience for automotive, aerospace, industrial or related industries.</li><li>Experience in design, developing and testing of battery systems for electrified propulsion or stationary energy storage.</li><li>Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), including strong technical communication.</li><li>Self-directed with strong leadership, team building, collaboration, organizational skills, and demonstrated problem solving ability.</li><li>Demonstrated ability and interest in working in a fast-paced team environment.</li><li>Basic understanding of UL, or similar, and regulatory certification processes.</li><li>Proficient with CAD programs such as Catia or Solidworks</li><li>Familiar with analysis packages such as FEMAP and NASTRAN (or equivalent)</li><li>B.S. Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics or similar with strong emphasis on practical work.</li></ul>Additional Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>M.S.
