In this role, you will develop and document quality processes, participate in cross-functional teams, and work with Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Suppliers, and Operations to address quality and manufacturability challenges. This is a hands-on individual contributor role spanning the entire product development lifecycle — from early R&amp;D through validation testing, pilot builds, and SOP/customer deliveries. You will be an integral member of Form Energy's Quality Team, helping ensure all products meet customer and company requirements. Relocation assistance is available. <h3>What you'll do:</h3><ul style=""><li>Work closely with Design/Manufacturing Engineering to develop and document measurement, inspection, and test methods in support of Control Plans</li><li>Support change management and execution of process development experiments</li><li>Review PFMEAs and Control Plans and assist with updates and revisions</li><li>Assist in the identification and resolution of manufacturing quality issues</li><li>Participate in continuous improvement activities with Design/Manufacturing Engineering and external Suppliers</li><li>Support Statistical Process Control (SPC) activities and use critical thinking to reduce manufacturing variation</li><li>Support non-conforming material control activities</li></ul><h3>What you'll bring:</h3><ul style=""><li>0–3 years of experience in quality engineering or manufacturing-related roles</li><li>Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field</li><li>Familiarity with SPC, PFMEAs, and Control Plans</li><li>Aptitude with electronic test and measurement systems</li><li>Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and wiring diagrams</li><li>Structured problem-solving skills (8D) and foundational knowledge of statistical tools including DOE, Process Capability (Cpk, Ppk), etc.</li><li>Proficiency with data analysis tools such as JMP, R, Minitab, or equivalent</li><li>Ability to manage, synthesize, and interpret data</li><li>Ability to work well in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while remaining detail-oriented with strong record-keeping and organizational skills </li></ul><h3>Where you'll work: </h3>This role is based at Form Factory 1 in Weirton, WV—an easy commute from the city of Pittsburgh, PA.
