You will own supplier quality for critical electrical systems and components, partnering closely with Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and our suppliers to ensure we consistently deliver high-quality products at scale. Success in this role means more than resolving quality issues—it means developing suppliers, industrializing new products, preventing defects before they occur, and building robust quality systems that support Rondo's rapid global growth. This role requires frequent travel to supplier facilities throughout Europe and internationally.  What You Will Do (key responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to): Build Supplier Quality Capability <ul><li>Develop and execute the supplier quality strategy for electrical components and assemblies.</li><li>Establish scalable supplier qualification, audit, and performance management processes.</li><li>Build strong technical relationships with strategic suppliers and become their primary quality partner.</li><li>Define supplier quality standards, acceptance criteria, and quality documentation.</li><li>Partner with supply chain to qualify new suppliers and audit existing  </li></ul>Drive Supplier Development &amp; Industrialization <ul><li>Support the industrialization of new electrical products and suppliers from prototype through production.</li><li>Partner with Engineering and Supply Chain to ensure manufacturability and production readiness.</li><li>Lead supplier activities, production readiness reviews, and process validation.</li><li>Review manufacturing processes and identify opportunities to improve quality, throughput, and robustness.</li><li>Help to implement APQP and PPAP methodology </li></ul>Improve Product Quality<ul><li>Lead investigations into supplier-related quality issues using structured problem-solving methodologies.</li><li>Drive root cause analysis and implementation of permanent corrective actions.</li><li>Monitor supplier performance through KPIs and quality metrics.</li><li>Reduce field quality issues by preventing defects upstream in the manufacturing process. </li></ul>Support New Product Introduction <ul><li>Partner with Product Engineering throughout the product development lifecycle.</li><li>Ensure quality requirements are incorporated into new designs and supplier selection.</li><li>Approve First Article Inspections (FAI), Supplier qualification and production validation activities where appropriate.</li><li>Help establish inspection strategies and critical-to-quality characteristics. </li></ul>Collaborate Across Functions <ul><li>Work closely with Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Project Delivery, and Field Service.</li><li>Support incoming inspection strategies and supplier containment activities when necessary.</li><li>Provide technical leadership during supplier visits and manufacturing reviews.</li><li>Share lessons learned across suppliers and product lines to continuously improve Rondo's products. </li></ul> What You Will Bring: <ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.</li><li>Approximately 4–8 years (P3) or 7–12 years (P4) of experience in Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Quality, or Supplier Development.</li><li>Experience working with electrical or electromechanical components in industrial, energy, automotive, automation, or heavy manufacturing environments.</li><li>Strong understanding of manufacturing processes for electrical assemblies including cable harnesses, control panels, switchgear, sensors, power electronics, or similar products.</li><li>Experience leading supplier audits and driving supplier performance improvements.</li><li>Excellent root cause analysis and corrective action skills using methodologies such as 8D, A3, 5 Why, or Fishbone.</li><li>Experience working cross-functionally with engineering and supply chain organizations.</li><li>Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis.</li><li>Excellent English skills </li></ul> Bonus Points! <ul><li>Experience with APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, and MSA.</li><li>Knowledge of ISO 9001 and supplier quality management systems.</li><li>Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) and manufacturing scale-up.</li><li>Familiarity with industrial automation, power systems, renewable energy, battery systems, or process equipment.</li><li>Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.</li><li>Experience working across multiple countries and cultures. </li></ul> What We Offer: <ul><li>Comprehensive Medical Benefits</li><li>Competitive salary plus equity in a quickly-scaling company</li><li>A centrally-located Madrid office</li><li>Opportunity to impact industrial carbonization on a daily basis  </li></ul>This role is preferred to be on-site in Madrid with up to 75% travel.
