Working in a Product Manager capacity, this role is responsible for developing and executing product strategies, identifying growth opportunities, managing the product lifecycle, and leading products from opportunity identification through commercialization.                                                        YOUR IMPACTThese duties are not meant to be all-inclusive, and other duties may be assigned:<ul><li>Identify the product lifecycle approach for products. Ensure the go-to-market strategies are developed and maintained for all part groups.</li><li>Participate in the new product development process, providing leadership for the Aftermarket team for the development of new parts, aligning the service bill of materials with the product commodity strategies.</li><li>Identify strategic opportunities and develop strategies to expand the product portfolio offering for the Aftermarket.</li><li>Coordinate with the Aftermarket teams (e.g. sales, marketing, communications, pricing, training, customer support, etc.) to apply an overall marketing strategy for the product offered to the market.</li><li>Work with the new equipment teams to ensure an aligned market approach for product with the product lifecycle management market approach.</li><li>Ensure that the product marketing team and the Marketing and Communication Team are aligned with the go-to-market strategy and the communications support needed for the product portfolio.</li><li>Create value added promotions and establish branding requirements for products.</li><li>Work with the Global Procurement Supply Chain (GPSC) buyers to develop a source-to-market strategy to maximize profit. Present strategies to Senior Management for Aftermarket.</li><li>Work with the pricing team to identify pricing strategies to support the product go-to-market strategies in alignment with Aftermarket goals.</li><li>Provide input for product planning through the demand forecasting effort. Evaluate sales trends, market conditions, customer perspectives and competitors, and obtain sales team input to develop expected sale levels by commodity groups and the competitive landscape.</li></ul>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in a related field and two (2) or more years of relevant experience in marketing, business, engineering, or product marketing (equivalent to eight (8) years total in education and experience); or an equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the essential functions of the role. </li></ul>STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS<ul><li>Product management or product ownership experience, including product strategy, lifecycle management, and commercialization.</li><li>Experience identifying and evaluating new product or portfolio growth opportunities using market, customer, competitive, and sales data.</li><li>Aftermarket, parts, service, or durable goods industry experience.</li><li>Experience developing and executing go to market strategies for products or product categories.</li><li>Strong business and financial acumen, including pricing strategy, profitability, forecasting, and business case development.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to lead cross functional initiatives involving Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Pricing.</li><li>Business to Business (B2B) product marketing or commercial experience.</li><li>Project management experience with the ability to manage multiple product initiatives from concept through launch.</li><li>Experience presenting product strategies, recommendations, or business cases to senior leadership.</li><li>Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.</li></ul>WORKING CONDITIONSThe following represents general working conditions for this office-based role.
