The role contributes to month-end close, financial reporting, and internal controls, working closely with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Financial Planning &amp; Analysis. It's a hands-on position within a fast-growing company, with exposure across the full accounting cycle rather than a single narrow function. This is a strong fit for an accountant early in their career who wants breadth and real ownership of the work.</p><p><strong>Hours</strong><br>Full-time</p><p><strong>Responsibilities will include:</strong></p><ul><li>Support the month-end close process by preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and assisting with financial statement preparation</li><li>Maintain the general ledger system, posting journal entries and ensuring the accuracy of account balances</li><li>Prepare financial reports and analysis, including variance analysis and trend identification</li><li>Process intercompany transactions and reconcile intercompany balances to resolve discrepancies</li><li>Support the implementation and maintenance of internal controls over the general ledger process, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency across the function</li><li>Provide documentation and support for internal and external audits, responding to inquiries and requests as needed</li><li>Partner with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Financial Planning &amp; Analysis on cross-functional initiatives and accurate financial reporting</li></ul><p><strong>Desired Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field</li><li>1-3 years of relevant accounting and financial reporting experience</li><li>Previous internship or co-op experience in accounting or finance preferred</li><li>Strong understanding of US GAAP accounting principles and financial reporting requirements</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment</li><li>Self-motivated and proactive, with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development</li><li>A Passion for sustainability and making the world a better place!</li></ul><p><span> </span></p><div><p><span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:helvetica , arial , sans-serif;">The position is full-time.
