This role involves providing opportunity Go No Go support, reviewing opportunities to assure they have the appropriate level of discovery, and assignment of opportunities to various Application Engineers. Collaboration with a team of engineers and effective communication with stakeholders (sales) are also key aspects of this job. Responsibilities: • Manage a team of Application Engineers supporting work in primarily North America, but some global opportunities • Provide opportunity Go No Go support • Review opportunities for sufficient Discovery• Manage the opportunity funnel and assignment to various Application Engineers• Collaborate with other engineers and scientists to develop new technologies and solutions • Identify and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce waste • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure proposals meet industry standards • Coordinate with cross functional teams to ensure smooth project execution • Provide technical support to customers and colleagues, answering inquiries and troubleshooting issues • Stay up to date with industry developments and trends to provide expert technical advice • Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures in the design and operation of chemical processes • Develop and implement plans to minimize the environmental impact of chemical processes • Participate in audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
