The activities include, but not limited to, the followings:</li><li>Collect and organize the information on macroeconomy, government policy/ geopolitics, finance, technology, industry, and energy &amp; environment in India as well as other regions globally.</li><li>Identify critical uncertainties for Hitachi, and opportunity/threat for Hitachi through the comparison with the present status of business strategy of Hitachi and competitor benchmarking.</li><li>Work out the measures to capture opportunities and reduce threats</li><li>Supervise junior researcher in the team in India.</li></ul>Required Qualification and Characteristics:<ul><li>Master’s degree in economics/ commerce/ business from a reputed college or university.</li><li>7+ years of related work experience preferably with a market research/ consulting/ credit rating firm or strategy/ corporate office of multinational company.</li><li>Ability to handle research &amp; consultancy assignments independently including writing research proposal, conducting research (secondary, primary), report writing, communication with Hitachi businesses.</li><li>Open to travel both domestic and foreign.</li><li>Strong Microsoft Office skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel), ability to use AI for research works.</li><li>Team management and good interpersonal skills for team building, stakeholder management.</li></ul>About HRI:<ul><li>Hitachi Research Institute (HRI) is internal strategic think-tank of Hitachi Ltd.
