We are looking for a B2B marketing operator to build and run Formo's marketing function as our first dedicated marketing hire. Key ResponsibilitiesDemand Generation &amp; Trade Show Activation<ul><li>Own the marketing strategy and execution for trade shows such as IFT FIRST and SupplySide, including booth narrative, pre-show LinkedIn campaigns, exhibitor e-blasts, sponsored newsletters, banner ads, lead capture, and follow-up workflows</li><li>Build and run B2B demand generation campaigns that produce qualified pipeline for the Commercial team</li><li>Coordinate trade-press features and sponsored content </li></ul>Content &amp; Creative<ul><li>Own content end to end: LinkedIn posts, blog and website copy, application one-pagers for customer outreach, trade show collateral</li><li>Translate technical and strategic substance, such as functionality characterization and value propositions, into clear market-facing formats for non-expert audiences</li><li>Set and hold a production cadence so content ships consistently </li></ul>Digital Presence &amp; Brand Operations<ul><li>Own LinkedIn company page strategy and cadence, and coordinate our other social channels</li><li>Maintain and evolve brand guidelines, and enforce claim discipline and messaging red lines across all output</li></ul>PR &amp; Earned Media<ul><li>Spot the story in Formo's technical, commercial, and regulatory milestones, and translate them into concrete earned-media opportunities and pitchable angles for the trade press</li><li>Lead the content side of earned media: story narratives and pitch angles, op-ed and feature drafts, press release copy, and briefing material for spokespeople</li></ul>Cross-functional Collaboration<ul><li>Partner with the commercial team on sales enablement activities</li><li>Manage external creative and PR support, including a marketing advisors and agencies</li><li>Work directly with the founders and technical experts, comfortable both challenging and being challenged</li></ul> About YouEducation &amp; Experience<ul><li>5+ years in B2B marketing, ideally in food ingredients, industrial biotech, specialty chemicals, or an adjacent technical B2B field</li><li>Hands-on trade show activation experience: you have run booth campaigns, pre-show outreach, and lead capture, not just attended</li><li>US market experience is a strong plus</li></ul>Technical &amp; Functional Skills<ul><li>Comfortable with marketing tooling, including CRM (HubSpot), LinkedIn analytics, and content and design workflows</li><li>Data-informed: you measure what you ship and adjust based on results</li></ul>Mindset<ul><li>Bias to ship over polish; you would rather get a strong asset out this week than a perfect one next month</li><li>Genuinely interested in technical subject matter and comfortable working alongside scientists </li></ul>Collaboration &amp; Communication<ul><li>Strong stakeholder management across technical and non-technical audiences</li><li>Experience managing external agencies or fractional specialists</li><li>Fluent in English</li></ul>Why you'll love it hereReady to shake things up?At Formo, you don't just trade your labor for compensation – you join a mission.
