This role serves as the key finance partner to development teams, supports month-end and year-end reporting cycles, and drives process improvement and ERP system governance.Requirements: <ul style="margin-top:0.0px;"><li>Lead and oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of financial reporting across development entities</li><li>Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statements, ensuring compliance with IFRS and internal reporting standards</li><li>Analyze and adjust income statement activity to ensure consistent and accurate financial presentation across development portfolios</li><li>Serve as the technical accounting lead for development activities, providing guidance on complex topics including revenue recognition, capitalization of development costs, impairment, leases, and financial instruments</li><li>Develop and document accounting positions and policies, ensuring they are audit-ready, consistently applied, and aligned with corporate standards</li><li>Identify and communicate key differences between IFRS and US GAAP, supporting both internal and external reporting requirements</li><li>Act as the primary accounting partner for development transactions, supporting project teams from due diligence through deal execution</li><li>Oversee financial reporting and accounting for special purpose entities (SPVs), including intercompany activity and balance sheet management</li><li>Support revenue recognition decisions and milestone invoicing processes, ensuring alignment with contractual and audit requirements</li><li>Lead audit readiness efforts, ensuring documentation, reconciliations, and supporting schedules are maintained to a high standard</li><li>Coordinate and support external audits, tax credit audits, and regulatory reviews, partnering with internal tax and finance teams</li><li>Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements</li><li>Act as a subject matter expert for ERP systems (IFS), supporting financial data integrity, project setup, and reporting accuracy</li><li>Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and system enhancements to increase efficiency and scalability</li><li>Support system governance, including chart of accounts, coding structures, and workflow design</li><li>Serve as the primary finance partner to development leaders, project managers, and cross-functional stakeholders</li><li>Collaborate with FP&amp;A, tax, legal, and operations teams to support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic decision-making</li><li>Provide financial insight and guidance to ensure sound business decisions and alignment with financial objectives</li><li>Manage and develop direct reports, including goal setting, performance management, and career development</li><li>Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence within the accounting team</li><li>Support recruitment, onboarding, and team capability building as the organization grows</li></ul>Safety: <ul style="margin-top:0.0px;"><li>Follows safety and security procedures and determines appropriate action.
