This position is onsite located at our Silver Peak, NV location.The Ponds Helper will assist the Ponds Operator with daily activities to accomplish Ponds Department goals. Safety is a high priority. The Ponds Helper will work safely by reporting incidents immediately to the Ponds Operator, repairing unsafe conditions, and following safe work habits.What You Will Do<ul><li>Assist the Ponds Operator with collecting samples and maintaining required records.</li><li>Support the daily operation of transfer pumps.</li><li>Conduct routine inspections of wells and portable pumps.</li><li>Assist with seasonal dredging operations.</li><li>Support seasonal liming activities.</li><li>Collect and compile monthly operational data and reports.</li><li>Serve as backup for the Ponds Operator as needed.</li><li>Safely and efficiently recycle lithium metal using the Lithium Metal Reactor.</li><li>Communicate daily operational activities and relevant information to the Ponds Operator.</li><li>Provide regular updates on shift activities and operational status.</li><li>Assist the supervisor with duties necessary to achieve departmental objectives.</li><li>Support other departments as needed to help meet company goals.</li><li>Maintain a safe, efficient, and organized work environment while contributing to departmental safety objectives.</li><li>Participate as a member of the Emergency Response Team (ERT).</li></ul>What You Bring  Required:<ul><li>Ability to follow written procedures and maintain accurate records.</li><li>Basic computer skills and proficiency with standard computer operations.</li><li>Ability to meet the physical requirements outlined in the Physical Demands Checklist.</li></ul>It'd Be Great If You Also Have:<ul><li>Previous industrial or manufacturing experience.</li><li>Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn.</li><li>Experience operating equipment in a production environment.</li><li>Strong communication and teamwork skills.</li><li>A commitment to workplace safety.</li></ul>Benefits of joining Albemarle <ul><li>Competitive compensation   </li><li>Comprehensive benefits package </li><li>A diverse array of resources to support you professionally and personally.  </li></ul> We are partners to one another in pioneering new ways to be better for ourselves, our teams, and our communities.
