Your work will directly contribute to safer, more reliable, and future-ready rail transportation across the country.This role offers the opportunity to combine technical leadership, people development, and system-level responsibility in an international and collaborative environment.Your ImpactLead with purpose<ul><li>Define the IVVQ (Integration, Verification, Validation, and Qualification) strategy for the Solution or its elements.</li><li>Ensure global consistency by approving IVVQ plans for lower-level components.</li><li>Establish IVVQ scenarios and guarantee their implementation.</li><li>Uphold independence in Validation as required by CENELEC standards (EN 50126 and EN 50129) by setting Acceptance Criteria and evaluating results objectively.</li><li>Escalate issues to the Head of Safety when necessary to maintain independence from Project Management.</li><li>Report IVVQ activities and deliverables to the Project Design Authority (PDA) and ensure alignment with overall Engineering governance.</li></ul>Build and empower the team<ul><li>Lead and manage the V&amp;V team, ensuring compliance with EN 50129 independence requirements.</li><li>Organize sprints, oversee deliveries and ensure milestones are achieved according to GVVP and SVVP plans.</li><li>Negotiate and agree on deadlines with Roll-out Managers.</li><li>Review delivered protocols and assist in defining documentation standards for Team members.</li><li>Foster a culture of Accountability and Excellence, ensuring the Solution is correct, complete and meets all requirements.</li></ul>Deliver excellence together<ul><li>Coordinate IVVQ activities, set priorities and create logical integration diagrams.</li><li>Conduct tests in both laboratory and on-site environments, support acceptance and commissioning, analyze results and share findings with development teams.</li><li>Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of all IVVQ activities within the constraints provided by the Head of Engineering, Programme Manager, Solution Architect and Project Design Authority.</li><li>Monitor progress against milestones and document achievements to maintain transparency and traceability.</li></ul>Collaborate across boundaries<ul><li>Plan sprints and work closely with Stakeholders, including internal teams, customers, partners and suppliers, to optimize processes.</li><li>Liaise with the Head of Engineering and other key roles to manage resources and schedules effectively.</li><li>Promote seamless communication and cooperation across all parties to achieve Project goals.</li><li>Ensure independence of Validation by applying clear governance and reporting structures.</li></ul>What You BringYou thrive in this role if you:Care deeply about quality, safety, and doing things rightEnjoy leading people and enabling others to succeedCommunicate clearly and constructively in complex environmentsTake ownership and act proactivelyValue teamwork, diversity, and mutual respectThank you for your interest in Hitachi Rail.
