Join us now at Hitachi Rail in Austria!<div></div><h2>YOUR CHALLENGE</h2><ul><li>Leading a SW development team of ~30 people</li><li>Responsible for skill management, setting the strategy, and monitoring progress towards goals.</li><li>Contributing to the creation of project plans regarding scope, timelines, efforts, costs and dependencies in strong cooperation with the program management</li><li>Ensure technical project milestone fulfillment to achieve goals and meet or exceed customer expectations</li><li>Establish trust with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, eliminating non-value-added activities and blockers and also finding creative ways to accelerate project delivery</li><li>Communicate status and critical issues clearly in a short and concise format</li><li>Manage issues and risks, create mitigation plans and escalate to appropriate stakeholders as necessary</li><li>Working in the area of safety critical systems</li></ul><h1></h1><h2>YOUR PROFILE</h2><ul><li>Technical education, preferably Master studies in Computer Science or similar</li><li>Minimum 3 years’ experience with technical team management on SW engineering projects</li><li>Experience in traditional and agile software development, cloud computing, software integration</li><li>Experience in an industrial sector like automotive, telecom or process control as well as knowledge of safety critical systems, especially rail signaling systems, are considered beneficial</li><li>Strong communication, problem-solving, organizational, and delegation skills</li><li>Project management knowledge is considered as beneficial</li><li>Positive attitude and persistence are key to succeed in this role</li><li>Competitive mindset, strong desire to achieve</li><li>Excellent level of German and good level of English</li></ul><h2>WE OFFER</h2><ul><li>The salary for this position starts at € 70.000 gross p.a.
