This role is essential to ensure project delivery excellence, stakeholder alignment, operational performance and customer satisfaction across all phases of the project lifecycle.A Project Manager is responsible for:<ul><li>Project Initialization</li><li>Project Launch Review (Baseline Review)</li><li>Project Execution, monitoring and controlling</li><li>Delivery and invoicing of project deliverables</li><li>Capture of Project Lesson Learnt</li><li>Project Closure </li></ul>Technical &amp; Professional Skills<ul><li>Core Project Management knowledge and skills;</li><li>Application of resource management, project planning and management methods;</li><li>Understanding of project lifecycle, from requirements to preliminary and detailed design phases, development, integration, verification and validation, down to test and commissioning and acceptance of a railway solution (signaling and control);</li><li>Good knowledge of the railway industry organisation structures, standards, workflows, operating procedures and terminology;</li><li>Team management skills and team motivation skills;                               </li><li>Good problem solving skills with experience of developing &amp; implementing customer focused solutions and resolving high level operational challenges                            </li></ul>Education and Qualifications<ul><li>Electrotechnical Engineer Degree or equivalent</li><li>Previous experience + 5 years in similar roles.</li><li>Member of the Portuguese Engineering Association (“Ordem dos Engenheiros” or “Ordem dos Engenheiros Técnicos)</li><li>Experience in ground transportation project management (recommended)</li><li>English (mandatory) and French (recommended) communication skills</li><li>IPMA level C certification or above (recommended).</li></ul>Thank you for your interest in Hitachi Rail.
