Those tasks are governance (ensuring architectural and security compliance), IaaS, PaaS, Network operation, Monitoring support, Azure DevOps support and capacity management. To handle all those different topics we must automate as much as possible and provide self-service functionality.Your responsibilities:As our Cloud Engineer your major responsible for ensuring a stable cloud platform which is evolving with the needs of the organization.Specific tasks would include:<ul><li>Cloud Networking<ul><li>Understanding Cloud-onPrem connectivity (ExpressRoute, MPLS, BGP)</li><li>Design, deploy, and manage cloud-based network architectures (e.g., VPCs, subnets, routing, paas specific subnet creation, network Segmentation, private endpoints).</li><li>Collaborate with DevOps, security, and development teams to integrate networking solutions.</li><li>Automate network infrastructure provisioning and management using tools like PowerShell, Bicep / Arm.</li><li>Monitor and troubleshoot network performance issues in cloud environments.</li><li>Knowledge in designing and operating Next Gen Firewall Environments, ideally Check Point.</li></ul></li><li>Scripting<ul><li>Writing scripts in Powershell, Bash</li></ul></li><li>Automation and orchestration<ul><li>Creating and maintaining automation based on scripts using e.g. REST</li></ul></li><li>Configuration Management<ul><li>Using tools like ARM templates, Bicep but also Ansible or DSC</li></ul></li><li>OS support<ul><li>Troubleshooting OS issues with Windows and Linux</li></ul></li><li>Governance<ul><li>Ensuring proper usage of tagging, permission handling, naming and policies</li><li>Support platform audits</li></ul></li><li>Financial analyses<ul><li>Having a good understanding of the cloud financial model and the TCO</li><li>Giving advice on cloud consumption</li></ul></li><li>Security<ul><li>Manage and react on alerts from Azure Security Center</li><li>Guiding projects together with IT security for secure implementation</li></ul></li><li>Source Code Management (Azure DevOps)<ul><li>Manage Azure DevOps (create project rooms, licenses management, feature enablement)</li><li>Backlog handling</li></ul></li></ul>Location   Katowice
