<p>We're looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Electrical Design Engineer to join our team in Chennai, India. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical infrastructure for data center projects. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient, compliant, and innovative electrical solutions that meet the demanding requirements of modern data center operations.</p><ul><li>Design electrical distribution systems, power management infrastructure, and backup power solutions for data center facilities</li><li>Develop single-line diagrams, electrical schematics, and detailed design documentation using industry-standard CAD software</li><li>Perform load calculations, power flow analysis, and thermal modeling to optimize electrical system performance and efficiency</li><li>Ensure all designs comply with relevant electrical codes, standards (NFPA 70, IEC), and data center industry best practices</li><li>Coordinate with mechanical, civil, and IT teams to integrate electrical systems with cooling, structural, and operational requirements</li><li>Evaluate and select electrical equipment, including transformers, switchgear, UPS systems, and distribution panels</li><li>Conduct design reviews and provide technical recommendations to improve system reliability and cost-effectiveness</li><li>Prepare technical specifications, bills of materials, and project documentation for procurement and construction phases</li><li>Support commissioning activities, testing procedures, and troubleshooting of electrical systems</li><li>Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends in data center electrical design and energy efficiency</li></ul>
