<p>Arenac Conservation District (ACD) was formed in 1955 by a locally lead board of farmers. Although ACD has its roots in agriculture we have grown with the needs of the community. The ACD's Mission is to bring together communities through education and conservation to enhance our natural resources for future generations. "Better communities through Strong Conservation".</p><p>The Arenac Conservation District is a boots-on-the-ground organization dedicated to conservation and sustainable land stewardship. We deliver programs that protect natural resources, improve soil and water quality, and empower landowners with the knowledge and tools they need to be effective stewards of the land. Through our programs we provide one-on-one technical assistance to producers, conducts soil and water testing, and guides landowners through the programs process. We host outreach events, develop educational materials, and build lasting partnerships with local communities, agricultural leaders, and conservation agencies to ensure every program we offer is accessible, impactful, and grounded in sound science.</p>
