You’ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing production tooling, ensuring tooling readiness, minimising downtime, and contributing to safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing outcomes.What will you do? <ul><li>Inspect, clean, and prepare tooling in line with production schedules to ensure uninterrupted operations and minimise downtime.</li><li>Perform tooling repairs and maintenance using manual machining equipment, including surface grinders.</li><li>Monitor daily production and tooling maintenance requirements to ensure tooling availability and optimal performance.</li><li>Maintain a clean, safe, and organised toolroom, while accurately tracking all incoming and outgoing tooling components.</li><li>Review production schedules and record maintenance activities, repair notes, and downtime data using DB View and MEX systems.</li><li>Respond promptly to tooling and equipment breakdowns, carrying out effective repairs to minimise production disruptions.</li><li>Work closely with production and maintenance teams to support operational efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives.</li><li>Undertake other duties as directed by the Department Leader or Management Team.</li></ul> About you   <ul><li>Trade qualified in Machining, Fitting &amp; Turning, Toolmaking, or a related discipline, with at least 5 years' post-apprenticeship experience.</li><li>Experience using Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), preferably MEX.</li><li>Proven experience in milling and turning operations is essential.</li><li>Experience with CNC wire eroders would be advantageous but is not essential.</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.</li><li>Reliable, self-motivated, and committed to continuous learning and professional development.</li><li>Sound understanding of machining principles, tooling, materials, tolerances, and precision engineering practices.</li><li>Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage competing demands.</li><li>Good understanding of Workplace Health &amp; Safety requirements, with a practical, safety-first approach to all work activities.</li></ul>Why join us?<ul><li>Flexible start and finish times, plus onsite parking</li><li>All PPE and uniforms provided, including an onsite uniform laundering service</li><li>A safe work environment with a strong focus on 'Go for Zero'</li><li>Work for a business that cares about sustainability and impact</li><li>Industry-leading paid parental leave – 26 weeks for primary carers, 4 weeks for secondary carers</li><li>Employee Assistance Program for you &amp; your family</li><li>Recognition programs and service awards</li><li>Mentoring opportunities to grow your career</li><li>Join our global DEI council and make a difference</li><li>Career development opportunities locally and globally</li></ul>For more information about this role, please contact Harjot Dhody on +61 0419902624
