Working at Freudenberg: We will wow your world!<h1>Responsibilities:</h1><ul><li>Execute procurement strategies defined by the Commodity / Lead Buyer.</li><li>Create and trigger purchase orders based on SAP info records.</li><li>Monitor and follow up on purchase orders until goods receipt, including supplier dunning when necessary.</li><li>Verify and process order confirmations (quantities and delivery dates); collaborate with the Commodity Buyer for PO adjustments when pricing or conditions are incorrect.</li><li>Review and validate invoices, especially in case of quantity variances; escalate cost or condition discrepancies to the Commodity Buyer.</li><li>Ensure compliance with internal (EB) requirements, maintaining On-Time Delivery (OTD) targets and optimal stock levels.</li><li>Manage and track quality notifications (Q-notifications), coordinating internally with Quality Assurance and externally with suppliers.</li><li>Act as the primary point of contact for Production Planning (internally) and suppliers (externally) regarding delivery and quality deviations.</li><li>Serve as first-level contact for supplier escalations and interface with the Commodity Buyer for resolution.</li></ul><h1>Qualifications:</h1><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.</li><li>Minimum 2–3 years of experience in procurement, preferably in direct materials purchasing.</li><li>Hands-on experience with SAP (S/4HANA – MM module) or similar ERP systems.</li><li>Strong understanding of procurement processes, supply chain flows, and supplier management.</li><li>Advanced English skills (mandatory); German language is a plus.</li><li>Good knowledge of MS Office tools, especially Excel.</li><li>Analytical and detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.</li><li>Strong communication skills for both internal stakeholders and external suppliers.</li><li>Proactive attitude with a focus on continuous improvement and achieving OTD (On-Time Delivery) targets.</li></ul>‎ ‎ The Freudenberg Group is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion.
