We invest in our people for the long term and are committed to supporting their development at every stage of their career.The Strategic Finance team is seeking an Associate Director to join our team supporting coverage of the Principal Investing segment. Strategic Finance is responsible for the firm’s financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and other strategic financial analyses.  The role provides an opportunity to get involved in all these aspects and offers a unique vantage point of Apollo’s entire eco-system.  Primary ResponsibilitiesApollo Business Reporting, Budgeting and Forecasting<ul><li>Maintain detailed and flexible financial models of Principal Investment Income (“PII”) P&amp;L, model new strategic initiatives</li><li>Liaise with Financial Reporting, Treasury, Human Capital, Business Management, and Investment teams to source and analyze data for the Firm’s budget, long-term plan, and monthly forecast process plan supporting Senior Management decision-making</li><li>Work through ad hoc projects and scenario analyses based on macroeconomic environment and market conditions (i.e., stress testing in partnership with our Risk function)</li><li>Support Human Capital in compensation decisions and structuring</li><li>Become an AI thought leader for the team to help us transform our PII analysis to make it more data driven, efficient, dynamic, and action-oriented</li></ul>Financial Analytics / Strategic Initiatives and Transaction Support<ul><li>Model and analyze often complex and strategic initiatives to support Apollo CFO and key stakeholders decisions (Business, Risk, Compensation, etc.)</li><li>Act as key point person on strategic projects (e.g., new fund profitability, tax analyses, fund acquisitions, M&amp;A impacts, complex transactions, modelling their impact on the PII segment and implications to Apollo, etc.)</li><li>Enhance financial models to fully capture business drivers and understand key trends, risks, and opportunities</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience<ul><li>5+ years of financial analysis experience, ideally in Investment Banking or Asset Management, in core CFO or FP&amp;A functions, Big-4 valuation or advisory services </li><li>Strong analytical thinking and financial reasoning capabilities with ability to think creatively.
