It may include working level leadership of purchasing team members.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.<ul><li>Lead purchasing and order management activities to drive operational effectiveness.</li><li>Ensure supplier and purchase order accuracy of master data in ERP and supplier portal and update/change data/information as required; resolve supply disruption issues.</li><li>Conduct standard material cost reviews, cost variance/change analytics and execute action plans for cost management; update material cost standards and variances in ERP.</li><li>Understand material/commodity index models and cost their impact on total cost of ownership.</li><li>Execute approved value proposition/cost out projects.</li><li>Lead supplier part warranty recovery campaign efforts.</li><li>Participate in projects that drive performance and value capture through long term supply agreements.</li><li>Lead supplier performance recovery and supplier risk mitigation activities; attend and lead supplier delivery performance discussions internally and in supplier business reviews.</li><li>Lead mitigation of price increase threats and lead/support supplier negotiations.</li><li>Execute supplier readiness for product launches (in coordination with NPD if applicable); review new parts and execute launch readiness initiatives for mid/high impact programs.</li><li>Support new program launch readiness initiatives.</li><li>Participate in supply chain optimization initiatives to improve material flow and capture value or reduce waste in the supply chain.</li><li>Engage in category counsel initiatives.</li><li>Train and mentor purchasing coordinator and associate positions.</li></ul>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:   <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree with five (5) or more years of relevant experience in Purchasing, Supply Chain, or a related field.</li><li>OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.</li><li>Ability to travel 25%.</li></ul>                                                                                                                     PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:  <ul><li>Relevant industry related certifications.</li><li>Purchasing experience within the manufacturing industry.</li><li>Ability to effectively communicate.</li><li>Ability to work in a team environment.</li><li>Strong organizational skills with exceptional follow through and attention to detail.</li><li>Strong time-management and prioritization skills, able to multi-task and prioritize competing requirements and meet deadlines.</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where requirements are constantly changing.</li><li>Experience and proficiency with various web-based software applications including Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.</li></ul>Pay Range:$82,900.00 - $134,300.00<div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div>The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations.
