AECOM's transportation team in Greenville, SC is seeking an Entry-Level Bridge Engineer to work in the bridge/structures group.This position is expected to begin as soon as possible.The Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:<ul><li>Builds analytic and design skills</li><li>Conducts engineering design, calculations, sketches, schematic drawings, and final working drawings under the supervision of an experienced engineer.</li><li>Uses computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems.</li><li>Creating innovative bridge designs using MicroStation and OpenBridge Designer</li><li>Develops an awareness of standard practices, techniques, and procedures under supervision.</li><li>Research alternate solutions and design options in support of the project team, e.g. white paper research, code review.</li><li>Communicates and collaborates with full design team and others.</li><li>Supports and assists in the development of work products such as specifications, drawings, and illustrative graphics.</li><li>Follows specific, detail instructions and set of technical approach for design.</li><li>Develops details, edit specific and an awareness of QMS procedures.</li></ul>
