Grow here.  The Electrical &amp; Dry Utilities Revit Specialist is responsible for leading the development, coordination, and governance of advanced BIM models focused on electrical and dry utility systems within industrial and transportation infrastructure projects. The role requires electrical engineering knowledge, deep Revit modeling expertise, and the ability to ensure full compliance with BIM and electrical design standards across multidisciplinary teams.  The position combines electrical design understanding with advanced BIM modeling, covering power distribution, cable routing, electrical infrastructure, and utility coordination. Experience in Middle East projects, including regional electrical standards and fast-track delivery, is considered a strong advantage.The specialist will mentor junior team members, collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders, and actively drive the adoption of advanced electrical BIM modeling methodologies and digital engineering best practices.Here is what you will do:1. Electrical Modeling and BIM Coordination<ul><li>Lead the creation, development, and maintenance of detailed Revit models for electrical and dry utility systems, including: MV/LV power distribution networks, Cable routing and containment systems, Electrical infrastructure and utility corridors, Telecommunications and auxiliary systems.</li><li>Ensure proper integration of electrical systems within federated, multi-discipline BIM environments.</li><li>Coordinate closely with civil, structural, architectural, and MEP teams to resolve electrical interfaces, constructability, and routing challenges.</li><li>Perform clash detection and coordination using Navisworks, ensuring optimized cable routing, equipment placement, and spatial coordination.</li></ul>2. BIM Standards, Electrical Compliance &amp; Quality<ul><li>Develop and enforce electrical BIM modeling standards, workflows, and naming conventions aligned with ISO 19650 and project requirements.</li><li>Ensure models comply with electrical design standards, utility regulations, and authority requirements.</li><li>Perform model audits and quality checks focused on electrical accuracy, parameter consistency, and constructability.</li><li>Support implementation of digital engineering workflows for electrical data and asset information.</li></ul>3. Technical Leadership and Mentoring<ul><li>Provide technical leadership to BIM/Revit specialists and electrical design team members.</li><li>Mentor junior staff in electrical modeling best practices, Revit workflows, and coordination techniques.</li><li>Promote a quality-driven and technically strong BIM environment within the team.</li></ul>4. Multidisciplinary Collaboration<ul><li>Act as the primary BIM and electrical modeling focal point across projects.</li><li>Lead coordination meetings to resolve clashes, electrical routing conflicts, and design interface risks.</li><li>Collaborate with project managers, electrical engineers, and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful delivery.</li></ul>5. Technical Support and Digital Innovation<ul><li>Provide advanced technical support in Revit electrical modeling, BIM coordination, and digital engineering.</li><li>Drive innovation in electrical modeling automation, parameterization, and model-based workflows.</li><li>Support continuous improvement in model efficiency, electrical design integration, and BIM data quality.</li></ul>6. Documentation and Reporting<ul><li>Maintain structured documentation of BIM procedures, electrical modeling standards, and project requirements.</li><li>Prepare coordination reports, model quality reviews, and electrical BIM deliverables.</li></ul>QualificationsHere’s what we’re looking for:<ul><li>Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related discipline.</li><li>Experience: Minimum 4+ years BIM experience with strong focus on electrical / dry utilities modeling in Revit.</li></ul>Nice to Have<ul><li>Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit (Electrical) including: Electrical families and systems, Cable routing and containment modeling, Parameter and data management, Model setup and coordination workflows.</li><li>Experience with Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM coordination tools.</li><li>Strong understanding of electrical infrastructure, power distribution, and dry utilities systems.</li><li>Familiarity with Middle East electrical standards, authority regulations, and fast-track project environments.</li><li>Knowledge of ISO 19650, PAS 1192, and BIM execution planning.</li></ul>Soft Skills<ul><li>Strong communication and multidisciplinary coordination ability.</li><li>High attention to technical detail and problem-solving capability.</li><li>Ability to work independently and lead technical delivery.</li><li>Strong organization and time management skills.</li></ul>
