The ideal candidate will have a solid background in project management of utility-scale solar and/or battery storage projects and strong people management experience. In this role, you will be key in ensuring the Project Controls team keep projects on track, within budget, and meet objectives by managing project schedules, costs, and resources, while also providing reports and analysis to stakeholders.  About the Company   Established in 2014, Gridworks is a leading EPC contractor for utility-scale solar and battery storage projects. With 2 GW of solar and battery energy storage projects we are well positioned for continued success in the rapidly growing clean energy sector.  Roles and ResponsibilitiesTake the lead and support project management teams with:Preconstruction planning &amp; quantity takeoffsBudget creation &amp; managementChange management &amp; claimsCost analysis &amp; forecastingProgress updates &amp; performance analysis surrounding earned value management conceptsProject-specific and company-wide reporting requirementsSchedule performance &amp; time-impact analysisCompiling, reviewing and analyzing project controls related data while interfacing with upper management and project teams on results and providing innovative solutions to scheduling &amp; cost performanceAssist/train project management in the use of other Project Controls processes, tools &amp; reportingAssist with preparation of project progress billingsAssist with proposal budget reviews &amp; cash flowsDevelop processes &amp; procedures as assignedMay require some travel to project sitesOther duties as assignedQualificationsQualifications and RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or related field required.5+ years of experience in project controls, cost management, scheduling, planning, or related experience within construction or EPC environments.Experience supporting utility-scale solar or BESS projects preferred.Strong understanding of cost control, forecasting, scheduling methodologies, and earned value management concepts.High proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.Experience with CMiC preferred.Experience with Procore preferred.Experience with Power BI preferred.Experience with Primavera P6 Professional preferred.Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively across teams.Equal Opportunity EmployerGridworks is committed to fostering a diverse, inclusive, and sustainable workplace.
