This role ensures high-quality product output by following strict process controls, cleanliness standards, and detailed work instructions.Primary Duties &amp; Responsibilities:<ul><li>Perform precision assembly of infrared camera components, including optics, sensors, and mechanical housings</li><li>Execute functional and environmental testing of IR camera systems per defined procedures</li><li>Inspect components and finished assemblies using microscopes and metrology tools to ensure quality standards are met</li><li>Follow detailed work instructions, travelers, and engineering documentation with high accuracy</li><li>Maintain strict adherence to cleanroom protocols (gowning, contamination control, ESD handling)</li><li>Record production data, test results, and non-conformances accurately in manufacturing systems (e.g., Camstar or equivalent)</li><li>Identify defects or process deviations and escalate issues to engineering or supervisory staff</li><li>Support continuous improvement initiatives related to yield, throughput, and quality</li><li>Assist with equipment setup, calibration checks, and routine maintenance</li></ul>Job Qualifications:<ul><li> High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or associate degree preferred</li><li>1–3+ years of experience in cleanroom assembly, electronics manufacturing, or optical/mechanical assembly</li><li>Experience working with small components and precision tools (tweezers, torque drivers, microscopes)</li><li>Familiarity with electrostatic discharge (ESD) and contamination control practices</li><li>Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions, drawings, and specifications</li><li>Basic computer skills for data entry and manufacturing systems</li><li>Good communication skills</li><li>Computer Skills: Word, Excel and Email</li><li>Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time</li><li>Must be able to lift 40 lbs., unassisted</li></ul>Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, legal permanent resident, asylee, refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce.  Salary Range: $39,000.00-$52,000.000The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate.
