As part of our Systems Reliability team, you will support reliability test development and design for reliability for several of our pack level subsystems. Relocation assistance is available. <h3>What you'll do:</h3><ul style=""><li>Advise on Design for Reliability (DfR) for critical mechanical subsystems that support iron-air battery operation, participating in cross-functional design failure analyses (DFMEAs)</li><li>Translate reliability risks into actionable test plans to uncover failure mechanisms, determine root causes, and establish methods to accelerate failure rates in test. Tests will focus on liquid and gas handling sub-systems, and the electro-mechanical components that support iron air battery operation.</li><li>Be a champion for safety</li></ul><h3>What you'll bring:</h3><ul style=""><li>Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Reliability Engineering or related field with 4+ years of industry experience</li><li>Demonstrated expertise in developing new tests to evaluate performance and/ or reliability of mechanical systems</li><li>Experience with liquid and gas handling systems (pumps, pipes, ducts, fans, etc) is a plus</li><li>Familiar with developing accelerated lifetime tests to assess component reliability across a range of operating conditions</li><li>Excellent communication and organizational skills</li><li>Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills within a group of peers and the broader organization, including remote team members </li></ul>#LI-Onsite#LI-TS1Humanity is a cornerstone of Form Energy’s culture, and we make sure our compensation and benefits reflect that.
