Born in Texas in 2003, we own and operate over 30 utility-scale wind, solar, and energy storage projects in local communities across the United States, totaling 4 gigawatts (GW) of generating capacity.  LRE continues to help meet increased U.S. energy demand through our robust pipeline of new projects every year. Domestic jobs and manufacturing are fundamental to our full-lifecycle approach to projects, along with a long-term ownership model and a company culture dedicated to our community partners and protecting the natural environment. <div><div>Job Summary: </div><div>Leeward Renewable Energy is currently seeking an experienced Cost Controller (P3) to prepare, analyze, verify and report project financial information and measure the effect of such information on the overall performance of Leeward Renewable Energy Wind, Storage and Solar PV projects</div><div>          </div><div>Essential Functions: </div><div><ul><li>Coordinate/Work closely with Project Managers, Development Managers, Engineering, Procurement, and other functional groups to assure cost controls needs are met in an effective and timely manner.  </li><li>Prepare cost information to forecast final expected costs and timing of weekly cashflow forecasts.</li><li>Coordinate with Site Project Managers and various LRE functions (accounting, finance, treasury, procurement, development, etc.) and provide detailed and timely analysis of project performance and variances, make appropriate recommendations and prepare reports, as required.</li><li>Utilize industry standards and procedures to ensure project control data/information satisfies project management cost, estimating, planning and schedules needs. </li><li>Maintain a project control database for use in preparing project cost variance reports in support of budgets and PPA’s financial models.</li><li>Maintain and update specific project control information and collect, sort and analyze progress reports covering status of completion, schedule and manpower utilization.  </li><li>Evaluate proposed changes and modifications to existing project controls tools and recommend alternatives where necessary to specific plans, schedules, or cash flows.  </li></ul></div></div><div><div><ul><li>Coordinate the preparation and collating of engineering, procurement and construction bid packages. </li></ul></div><div> </div><div> </div><div>Qualifications: </div><div><ul><li>Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering  or Accounting</li><li>Six (6) years of experience in either cost controls, database management, project reporting, project management or applicable to engineering and/or construction of power generation facilities and/or transmission or electrical substations, preferably within the renewables space.  Must have proficient experience with Microsoft excel, analytical database management, and accounting systems.  Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques, data programming and scripts, Power BI are highly recommended.</li></ul><ul><li>Please Note: This is an in-office role, requiring on site presence in our office a minimum of three days per week with hybrid flexibility of working remotely two days per week, subject to manager and policy approval. #LIHybrid </li></ul></div><div> </div><div>Physical Demands: </div><div><ul><li>Travel to corporate offices and/or sites as necessary to support the Business is required.                                   </li><li>Position will require sitting for long periods of time as well as occasionally lifting up to twenty-pound boxes. </li></ul></div></div><h2>Applicants must have current authorization to work for any employer in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for an employment visa now or in the future.
