About the team The Assembly, Integration, and Testing (AIT) team serves as the vital bridge between Satellite Engineering and our Pilot Plant. We guarantee that the satellites we design can be produced using repeatable, scalable processes. We are the nexus between design and manufacturing, working under tight deadlines to ensure rapid production feasibility. About the position We are looking for an AIT Engineer to join our high-complexity manufacturing team. In this role, you will be instrumental in transforming engineering requirements into physical, integrated, validated, and operational solutions. You will work across the entire satellite manufacturing lifecycle, supporting subsystem integration and executing Verification and Validation (V&amp;V) campaigns to ensure each platform meets its design specifications.If you have a strong analytical mindset, methodical troubleshooting skills, and thrive in a hands-on technical laboratory and cleanroom environment, this role is for you. Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Integration and Verification (V&amp;V): Lead the physical and electrical integration of electronic subsystems.</li><li>Test Management: Support the planning, definition, and execution of environmental and functional testing campaigns</li><li>Analysis and Troubleshooting: Apply analytical skills for fault-finding in hardware and integrated systems. Investigate root causes and collaborate with the R&amp;D team to develop practical solutions directly on the shop floor.</li><li>Documentation, Reporting &amp; Change Management: Generate test reports, document Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and actively participate in the Engineering Change Control process to ensure full hardware traceability.</li><li>Operational Nexus (Design to Production): Act as the technical bridge between R&amp;D and the manufacturing floor. Review new designs applying DFM &amp; DFMA (Design for Manufacturing and Assembly) principles to ensure they are physically viable to build and assemble efficiently. Create step-by-step Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and routing sheets to guide technicians.</li><li>Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the optimization of integration processes by developing and specifying Ground Support Equipment (MGSE/EGSE).</li></ul> About you  Experience &amp; knowledge:<ul><li>Engineering degree in software/electronics</li><li>3+ years of experience working with electronics in a manufacturing environment.</li></ul><ul><li>3+ years working with highly integrated systems and interdisciplinary teams (e.g. electronics, software, optics, mechanics, etc.)</li><li>Experience in electronics, systems engineering or related fields.</li></ul><ul><li>Experience with real-time constraints and hardware interfaces (e.g. SPI, UART, I2C, USB, ETH and MQTT, Ethernet)</li><li>Familiarity with Linux OS</li><li>Knowledge of Python language</li><li>Troubleshooting of standalone hardware and related services</li><li>Hardware diagnostic and repair</li></ul><ul><li>Language: Intermediate English written and oral</li><li>Availability to travel approximately 20-30% of the time</li></ul> Desirable experience and skills:<ul><li>Experience in design of electronics test boards</li><li>Experience with embedded systems </li><li>Experience with analog/digital, power and RF electronics at system level</li><li>Experience in electronic hardware maintenance administrator </li><li>Experience in the space sector</li><li>Linux shell scripting</li><li>Familiarity with Docker or containers technology.</li><li>Planning, tracking and documenting tasks</li><li>Systemic vision: understand the complex architecture of satellites, seek for the system level optimization.</li><li>Ability to understand and manage discrepancies and tradeoffs by exploring different alternatives and points of view.</li><li>Knowledge of C language</li><li>Experience in process definition, measurement and automation of test and assembly operations</li></ul> What we value:<ul><li>Proactivity, flexibility, agility and versatility.
