AECOM is seeking a Project Manager II in Riverside, CA.Duties and Skills:<ul><li>Manages one or more moderately complex project, involving a combination of the following:</li><li>Clients with a regional geographic footprint; OR,</li><li>Projects involving multiple services provided by regional IE offices; OR,</li><li>Other complexities, such as projects that involve litigation, environmental protection, due diligence, etc.</li><li>May manage all phases of projects (from beginning to close out).</li><li>Works mostly independently but receives basic instruction on specific assignments, objectives, complex features and possible solutions.</li><li>Receives technical guidance on unusual or complex problems and supervisory approval on proposed plans for projects.</li><li>May supervise: senior level engineers (all disciplines applicable), as well as project administration, project controls, scheduling, cost control, estimating and procurement representatives</li><li>Possess outstanding verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Individuals must be able to manage multiple tasks, exhibit strong organizational skills, have a good understanding of design and construction</li><li>Knowledge of construction management procedures</li><li>Knowledge of construction industry practices</li><li>Skilled at use of construction management software and programs</li><li>Knowledgeable in the process of invoicing and billing procedures</li><li> Proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs</li><li> Act as Owners Authorized Representative (OAR)</li><li>Design management experience managing all phases of design:</li><li>Provide leadership to architects, engineer and design team consultants</li><li>Design phase cost, budget, and schedule control and coordination, and reporting to the Client</li><li>Pre-design experience to assist in developing overall project schedule and project budget inclusive of construction cost and soft cost</li><li>User group and stakeholder coordination and management</li><li>Coordination of all jurisdictional approvals and permitting</li><li>Construction logistics planning, bidding, construction contract review/ coordination, pre-qualification processes</li><li> Coordinates program activities with other Client organizational branches and departments such as the Office of Environmental Health and Safety, Design and A/E Technical Support, Asset Management Branch, Facilities Contract Administration, Inspection Unit, Maintenance and Operations and other stakeholders</li><li>Assists Facilities management staff with bid and contract planning</li><li>Assesses bid specifications according to Client needs and probability of completion under stated timeline</li><li>Reviews and monitors overall administration of contracts for Architects and other project related consultants</li><li> Reviews status and overall construction project progress relative to submitted construction schedules</li><li> Reviews change orders from all construction projects and assesses their impact</li><li> Reviews status and monitors variances of the construction project database relative to scheduling and cost control reporting</li><li>Reviews and verifies submitted applications for payment and performs overall fiscal management of multiple construction projects</li><li> Provides functional direction over areas of responsibility including construction project schedules, cost control, dispute resolution, contract administration, and quality control</li><li>Resolves complex construction project related issues, disputes, and disagreements</li><li>Reviews and takes recommended actions in resolving disputes relative to construction projects</li></ul>
