The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing sourcing strategies, managing supplier performance, and supporting supplier quality initiatives. This role works cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Supply Chain to ensure continuity of supply, mitigation of commodity risks, and delivery of high-quality materials and componentsEssential Duties and Responsibilities:<ul><li>Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with cost, quality, and delivery objectives</li><li>Lead sourcing and procurement activities for assigned commodities, including supplier selection, negotiation, and contracting</li><li>Monitor and mitigate commodity shortages and supply risks to ensure business continuity</li><li>Conduct supplier capacity assessments and support supplier survey planning to ensure production readiness</li><li>Evaluate and qualify suppliers in alignment with Teledyne standards and business requirements</li><li>Monitor supplier performance (quality, delivery, cost) and drive corrective actions for underperforming suppliers</li><li>Manage supplier corrective actions, including root cause analysis and implementation of preventive measures</li><li>Conduct supplier audits for qualification, ongoing monitoring, and issue resolution</li><li>Act as liaison between Sourcing, Quality, Engineering, and Operations to resolve supplier-related issues</li><li>Support non-conformance management activities and supplier-related investigations</li><li>Partner with Engineering and Manufacturing on new product introduction (NPI), including supplier readiness and process validation</li><li>Recommend supplier process and capability improvements to enhance quality, delivery, and efficiency</li><li>Support strategic or segmented procurement approaches for critical or high-risk components</li><li>Provide reporting and analysis on supplier performance and sourcing metrics</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned</li></ul>Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
