<h2><span style="color:rgb(0, 32, 96);">What The Role Is</span></h2><p>Reporting to the Safety Manager, the Senior Safety Specialist is responsible for providing professional safety/technical training on topics related to renewable energy (wind, solar, battery storage) production/delivery. Utilize a systematic approach to training to develop, deliver, and maintain training materials. Develop evaluation instruments and collect trainee and stakeholder feedback for program improvements. Support site safety needs as required. This position requires travel approximately 70% of the time to sites to administer training. This may include safety audits and incident investigations.</li></ul><h2><span style="color:rgb(0, 32, 96);">What You'll Bring</span></h2><ul><li>5 years of practical experience in electrical generation, including renewable energy.</li><li>Education or technical field training/experience related to renewable energy preferred, or a combination of education and experience providing equivalent technical knowledge is required (trade school, instructor certification, military training, journeyman training).</li><li>Previous experience with technical training development and delivery.</li><li>Extensive knowledge of multiple renewable energy platforms and components</li><li>Ability to develop and conduct classroom training and engage the adult learner with different styles of learning.</li><li>Must have strong communication and presentation skills.</li><li>Demonstrate effective communication skills with all levels of field technicians, supervisors, and management.</li><li>Ability to read and understand electrical schematics.</li><li>Ability to work in a mechanical environment.
