Shape the employee experience.We're looking for a proactive and people-focused People &amp; Culture Advisor to join our ANZ People &amp; Culture team in Brisbane, Melbourne or Sydney.In this role you’ll work within a collaborative hybrid environment, supporting leaders and employees across Australia and New Zealand providing trusted advice across the full employee lifecycle. You'll help deliver practical, commercially focused people solutions that support business performance, strengthen employee engagement and foster a positive workplace culture.Key accountabilities include, but are not limited to:<ul><li>Partner with leaders to provide timely, practical advice across the employee lifecycle.</li><li>Build strong relationships with managers to understand business needs and develop people solutions that support organisational goals.</li><li>Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, organisational change, workforce planning and employee development.</li><li>Support leaders with talent management, succession planning and employee engagement initiatives.</li><li>Provide advice on remuneration, benefits, policies, procedures and employment legislation.</li><li>Contribute to diversity, inclusion and wellbeing initiatives that strengthen our culture.</li><li>Partner with colleagues across the People &amp; Culture team to deliver strategic projects and business improvement initiatives.</li><li>Support organisational change activities through effective planning, communication and stakeholder engagement.</li><li>Analyse people trends and identify opportunities to improve the employee experience and business outcomes.</li></ul>About YouYou'll be a collaborative P&amp;C professional who enjoys partnering with leaders, building trusted relationships and delivering practical, people-focused solutions.You'll bring:<ul><li>Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, Psychology or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).</li><li>Relevant experience in a generalist People &amp; Culture or Human Resources role, ideally within a professional services environment.</li><li>Experience partnering with leaders across a broad range of people matters.</li><li>Sound knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice.</li><li>Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.</li><li>Excellent communication, coaching and influencing capability.</li><li>The ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a high level of customer service.</li><li>A proactive mindset with the confidence to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team environment.</li></ul>Why Join Us?At SMEC, our people are at the heart of everything we do.
