Detailed Description:<ul><li><ul><li>Identify and pursue new business development opportunities and establish Teledyne as a preferred vendor for machine visions cameras</li><li>Grow existing accounts and fostering long-term relationships by ensuring customer needs are met</li><li>Build and execute a territory sales plan and achieve assigned sales targets working with other departments, including other Sales  members, the Product Management team, Support team, Engineering team, and Marketing team</li><li>Promote Teledyne’s Machine Vision products, support and guide customers, and build relationships with new and existing customers</li><li>Prepare and update weekly territory forecasts and budgets</li><li>Understand market trends &amp; requirements through customer visits, trade shows, and new business development</li><li>Follow-up with new leads and opportunities</li><li>Provide customers with product and technical information as required </li><li>Manage interactions with customers via phone, email, and site visits; respond to inquiries, qualify opportunities, prepare quotes, and follow up with accounts accordingly</li></ul></li></ul> Requirements:<ul><li><ul><li>College degree (Engineering or Business preferred). A strong technical background is preferred.</li><li>7+ years of sales experience working with OEMS and distribution channels, preferably in the machine vision industry</li><li>Superior persuasion and presentation skills </li><li>Strong customer communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on responding promptly and meeting commitments made to customers</li><li>Excellent level of detail and ability to multitask and handle stress</li><li>Strong work ethic with positive attitude and enthusiasm to learn new things</li><li>Team player who can also work independently with minimal supervision</li><li>Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)</li><li>Verbal and written communication skill in English is a must</li><li>Ability to travel frequently to visit clients</li></ul></li></ul> Preferred Skills/Experience:<ul><li><ul><li>Knowledge of the uses and technical capabilities of industrial digital cameras and/or experience in the Machine Vision Industry is an asset</li><li>Familiarity with hardware based sales and the Electronics, Manufacturing, or Robotics industries</li><li>Familiarity with Salesforce CRM</li></ul></li></ul>  Teledyne and all of our employees are committed to conducting business with the highest ethical standards.
