Job Description:JOB MISSION: As a firmware developer, you will participate in the development of new projects, as well as create new features to improve and maintain existing embedded FW applications, mainly based on the TI C2000 family, developing complete applications dedicated to the management and control of electrical power devices.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :• Use the official UTI-SW code development, version control, and code documentation tools.• Use collaborative work tools in accordance with the QoS plan• Execute SW development processes in accordance with QoS .• Follow the SW working methodology, as defined in QoS.• Responsibility for the quality of the software they develop• Responsibility for meeting development deadlines agreed upon in the Sprint Planning .• Responsibility for reviewing and approving code merges in GitLab, and compliance with code versioning rules, collaborative work in GitLab and ticket management in Redmine, in accordance with QoS.JOB FUNCTIONS :Usual/Daily:• SW specification analysis .• Design, development and maintenance of embedded applications for ZGR products.• Preparation and maintenance of design documents.• Debugging, unit testing, and software verification.• Participation in the daily scrums of the developments in which I participate.Periodic/Occasional:• Participation in Sprint Planning , Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives.• Support to other departments.• Analysis and testing at customer facilities in cases of support to other departments.• Training, supervision and mentoring of less experienced members.Minimum academic qualifications: Engineering or university degree in a science field<h2>Required Qualification &amp; Experience</h2>Engineering or university degree in a science fieldFluent English and Spanish (written and spoken),  other European languages are a plus.0-3 years of Academic experience• Development of well-structured and documented software• Experience and proficiency in C programmingDesirable Knowledge/Experience• Work experience as an embedded software developer for microprocessors• Experience developing embedded systems for Solar and/or Storage inverters• Experience in code documentation with Doxygen• Experience designing and implementing Unit Tests (UTs)• Programming experience PythonExperience with GitLab for version controlSkills:• Ability to define SW architectures for complex products.• Ability to define SW specifications from very high level or even non-existent requirements for new products.• High-level requirements analysis.• Proactivity.• Rigor, method.• Ability to work in a team.• Dynamism in the execution of the work.• Dedication to work• Eagerness to learn.Some Travel RequiredAt Nextpower, we are driving the global energy transition with an integrated clean energy technology platform that combines intelligent structural, electrical, and digital solutions for utility-scale power plants.
