In this role, you will play a key part in the monthly close process, financial reporting, and maintaining the integrity of our accounting records. You will partner cross-functionally with teams across the organization to support operational excellence while helping to build scalable accounting processes that support Electric Hydrogen's continued growth.</p><p>You will be hybrid <span>(1-2 days/week) </span>based onsite at our Devens, MA facility and report to the Accounting Manager.</p><p><strong>Primary Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li style="line-height:2;">Prepare month-end close journal entries, including monthly accruals, ERP integrations, Brex credit card activity, and lease accounting</li><li style="line-height:2;">Execute month-end close procedures to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting</li><li style="line-height:2;">Reconcile worldwide cash accounts and prepare cash reporting while partnering with Accounts Payable and other internal departments</li><li style="line-height:2;">Own the fixed asset accounting process, including reviewing capital expenditures, maintaining the ERP fixed asset register, collaborating with department leaders, and supporting physical inventory counts</li><li style="line-height:2;">Prepare and maintain prepaid expense schedules, including prepaid insurance and other qualifying prepaid assets</li><li style="line-height:2;">Assist with vendor deposit accounting by reviewing project purchase orders and partnering with project owners and Accounts Payable to ensure accurate accounting treatment</li><li style="line-height:2;">Prepare intercompany reconciliations and process cross-charge submissions</li><li style="line-height:2;">Review and approve purchase requisitions within Coupa from an accounting perspective</li><li style="line-height:2;">Support monthly variance analysis and actual versus budget reporting</li><li style="line-height:2;">Assist with annual external audits by preparing schedules and supporting documentation</li><li style="line-height:2;"><span>Assist with worldwide tax reporting</span></li><li style="line-height:2;">Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and strengthen internal controls</li><li style="line-height:2;">Participate in system implementations and cross-functional special projects</li><li style="line-height:2;">Prepare KPIs, management reports, and ad hoc financial analyses</li><li style="line-height:2;">Support additional journal entries and accounting projects as business needs evolve</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li style="line-height:2;">Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field</li><li style="line-height:2;">Minimum of 3 to 5 years of progressive accounting experience</li><li style="line-height:2;">Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and month-end close processes</li><li style="line-height:2;">Experience with accruals, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, balance sheet reconciliations, and general ledger accounting</li><li style="line-height:2;">Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills</li><li style="line-height:2;">Ability to manage multiple priorities while working independently in a fast-paced environment</li><li style="line-height:2;">Exceptional attention to detail while maintaining awareness of broader business objectives</li><li style="line-height:2;">Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including XLOOKUP, PivotTables, and other advanced functions</li><li style="line-height:2;">Willingness to contribute beyond defined responsibilities to support the needs of a growing business</li><li style="line-height:2;">Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is a plus</li><li style="line-height:2;">Experience using Coupa procurement and requisition systems is a plus</li><li style="line-height:2;">Experience supporting external audits is a plus</li><li style="line-height:2;"><span>Experience with Brex Credit card platform is a plus</span></li><li style="line-height:2;">Experience working in a high-growth manufacturing, technology, or clean energy environment is a plus</li><li style="line-height:2;">Experience with ERP implementations or system integrations is a plus</li></ul><p>#LI-Hybrid</p><p><strong>Compensation and Benefits</strong> l S4</p><div><div><div>MA Zone</div><div><span>$95,000</span><span>—</span><span>$110,000 USD</span></div></div></div><div><p>Actual base salary offered to the hired applicant will be determined based on their work location, level, qualifications, job-related skills, as well as relevant education or training and experience.​</p><p>Base salary is just one part of Electric Hydrogen’s total rewards package.
