This is the work that matters most right now. **This role is based in Jerrabomberra, on the border of NSW/ACT approx. 30 mins from Canberra CBD**** All candidates must have a valid visa for Australia - Sponsorship is unavailable for this role ** ROLE PURPOSEAs an Analytical Chemistry Technician within the Analytical Chemistry Team, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Analytical Laboratory by performing sample preparation, routine analyses, and laboratory support activities. The role works closely with Analytical Chemists to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality analytical data to support research, process development, and manufacturing operations across the business. YOU WILL…..<ul><li>Prepare, label and submit samples for analytical testing, ensuring correct handling, storage and traceability throughout the process.</li><li>Carry out routine laboratory procedures including dilutions, extractions, filtrations, digestions, titrations, pH testing and moisture analysis.</li><li>Support analytical testing workflows using equipment such as HPLC, LC-MS, ICP, GC and GC-MS, under the guidance of Analytical Chemists.</li><li>Prepare reagents, solvents, mobile phases, QC samples and calibration standards in line with laboratory methods and safety requirements.</li><li>Operate, calibrate and complete basic maintenance checks on laboratory instruments and equipment, reporting faults or issues promptly.</li><li>Record samples, test results, observations and procedures accurately in laboratory notebooks, templates and digital systems.</li><li>Help compile, check and communicate analytical results clearly to support research, process development and manufacturing activities.</li><li>Maintain a clean, organised and compliant laboratory environment, following all safety, quality and site procedures.</li><li>Support stock management, ordering and replenishment of reagents, consumables and laboratory materials.</li><li>Work with chemists, engineers and broader technical teams to troubleshoot issues, improve workflows and keep lab operations running smoothly.</li></ul> YOU…..<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related scientific discipline.</li><li>2+ years of experience operating laboratory equipment and conducting sample preparation in an industrial or analytical lab.  </li><li>Familiarity with HPLC, LC-MS, ICP, GC, and GC-MS is desirable.</li><li>Proficiency in MS Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data collection and analysis.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.</li><li>Purpose-driven team player - inspired by an opportunity to have impact in the world with a deep belief in Samsara’s purpose and the important role we will play in creating the most impactful recycling company.</li><li>Culture &amp; Values Alignment: Demonstrate a strong alignment with our values and mission, actively contributing to a purpose-driven, inclusive, and high-integrity culture.</li></ul>  WHY WORK WITH US...<ul><li>Real Impact - Your work directly helps repair the planet.
