Learn more at AMPSortation.com. </div>AMP Robotics is hiring a maintenance supervisor to lead a maintenance team while also supporting the maintaining, modifying, and improving of all equipment at AMP’s facility. Participates as an integral team member, giving input on equipment reliability, maintenance processes, safety concerns, and other topics. As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will work to:<ul><li>Demonstrate and lead the department in a commitment to safe behavior and to making the plant a safer place to work. Support/drive hazard identification, risk assessments, and risk control efforts.</li><li>Train and supervise the maintenance team by assigning personnel; scheduling and accomplishing preventative maintenance goals while monitoring equipment throughout a shift. </li><li>Primary interface to external facilities and maintenance contractors (i.e. HVAC, rolling stock, compressors, etc).</li><li>Maintain the spare parts inventory based on critical need and part lead time. </li><li>Maintain and troubleshoot equipment. Preserve uptime and increase equipment reliability through continuous improvement and preventive maintenance.</li><li>Work collaboratively with the plant manager to supervise project initiatives and development activities to support changing plant needs while maintaining compliance with corporate policies and procedures.</li><li>Operate power industrial vehicles (i.e. lift trucks, front loaders)</li><li>Act as emergency coordinator for the plant.</li><li>Adheres to and ensures all company, and regulatory safety standards and rules are followed </li><li>Performs other job-related duties as assigned.</li></ul>The successful candidate will have: Required: <ul><li>Equivalent of high school diploma or G.E.D. certification. Technical certifications are highly desired. </li><li>3 (or more) years of direct experience leading a team operating same or similar machinery, in a production or processing environment </li><li>5 or more years of experience operating same or similar machinery</li><li>Experience working with and implementing Lean Manufacturing principles, including Preventive Maintenance, Total Productive Maintenance, and Predictive Maintenance</li><li>Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software for Preventive Maintenance, Purchase Requisitions, Work Order Tracking, and Inventory Management</li><li>Knowledge of electrical safety</li></ul>Preferred: <ul><li>Five (5) or more years of experience as a certified maintenance mechanic lead or supervisor.</li></ul>Working Conditions/ Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
