AECOM is seeking an Inspector – Conveyance Systems. This newly created, full-time position will concentrate on the inspection and oversight of pumping stations and related conveyance systems. The successful candidate will be based out of our office in Pickering, ON and will primarily work on projects located east of the Greater Toronto Area.Responsibilities<ul><li>Act as the on-site liaison with contractors, clients, and approving authorities, addressing resident concerns as they arise.</li><li>Collaborate closely with the Project Engineer and Project Manager to ensure construction activities comply with project specifications.</li><li>Prepare and maintain daily work logs, project documentation, and reporting.</li><li>Schedule and conduct regular project meetings with contractors and clients.</li><li>Provide clarification of drawings and directions to contractors, with remote support from the Project Engineer.</li><li>Monitor compliance with quality, performance, specifications, and code requirements through inspection duties.</li><li>Conduct surveys and measurements for quantity calculations.</li><li>Complete surveys for the preparation of record drawings.</li><li>Participate in punch lists, testing, and commissioning processes.</li><li>Assist in the preparation of the Project Construction Completion and Final Acceptance Certificate.</li><li>Train entry-level employees in relevant procedures and practices.</li><li>Adhere to AECOM Safety Policies and promote a culture of safety by example.</li></ul>
