The investment consists of:<ul><li>A joint venture with a leading railcar lessor, collectively managing a ~$4 billion fleet consisting of approximately 100,000 railcars, and</li><li>A wholly owned fleet of ~23,000 railcars and locomotives, managed by our JV partner, with total assets of approximately $1 billion</li></ul>These are critical assets underpinning the North American transport network with stable demand and highly contracted cashflows, however from time-to-time decisions will be required on asset sales, treasury, liquidity, and operating matters that will require support from the Head of Finance along with Brookfield Investment and Portfolio Management teams.
