The primary responsibility of this role is to inspect incoming parts and assemblies to ensure they meet our stringent quality standards. This includes performing detailed inspections, utilizing various measuring tools and equipment, and documenting non-conformances. If you are passionate about quality assurance and have a commitment to maintaining high standards, we encourage you to apply.Primary Job Duties &amp; Responsibilities:<ul><li>Verification of compliance of incoming / outgoing material to requirements and/or external specifications and standards for mechanical, electro-mechanical, optical, and/or electrical components, cables, wire harnesses, cameras, lasers, etc. </li><li>Review first article reports on various electrical and mechanical processes and products using variable or attribute measuring instruments and techniques.</li><li>Proactively work with Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) / Manufacturing Engineers (MEs) to develop quality/inspection plans for material, maintain quality master data in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.</li><li>Develop and document inspection procedures in collaboration with supervisor and/or SQE. Based on data, modify inspection plans.</li><li>Identify, communicate and document discrepancies found of nonconforming material and recommend disposition Discrepant Material Report (DMR) processing.</li><li>Analyze disposition of failed materials for all commodities and coordinate resolution of DMR’d materials.  Assist in root cause analysis and review of supplier corrective action reports. Prepare and analyze quality metrics and trends.</li><li>Coordinates Material Review for discrepant material.</li><li>May contact suppliers and other departments directly to clarify issues and request information.</li><li>Perform process evaluations, data analysis and be responsible for implementing corrective actions. Initiate actions (inventory purge, work in progress inspections, inform Technicians, etc.) when quality issues are discovered.</li><li>Exercise judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
