The position is responsible for operating test equipment, documenting test results, identifying nonconformances, and supporting production objectives while maintaining compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.<div></div>Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:<ul><li>Perform production testing of electronic, electro-mechanical, and mechanical products in accordance with approved work instructions, procedures, and test specifications.</li><li>Set up, operate, and verify test equipment, fixtures, instrumentation, and associated hardware required to perform testing activities.</li><li>Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, travelers, work instructions, and test procedures.</li><li>Record test results accurately and completely within applicable systems and documentation.</li><li>Identify, document, and report product failures, defects, or nonconforming conditions.</li><li>Troubleshoot basic product and equipment issues and communicate findings to supervisors, engineering, quality, or other support personnel.</li><li>Monitor production test activities to ensure compliance with established quality requirements.</li><li>Verify calibration status of test equipment prior to use.</li><li>Maintain accurate production and quality records to support customer, regulatory, and internal requirements.</li><li>Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, safety, and cost reduction.</li><li>Follow ESD, FOD, and contamination control requirements as applicable.</li><li>Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area.</li><li>Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.</li><li>Assist with training activities and cross-functional support as assigned.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned by management.</li></ul><div></div>Education<ul><li>High School Diploma or GED required.</li><li>Technical certification, vocational training, or military electronics training preferred.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>1-3 years of manufacturing, electronics testing, inspection, or related experience preferred.</li><li>Experience operating test equipment in a production environment preferred.</li></ul>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities<ul><li>Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, schematics, and work instructions.</li><li>Ability to operate a variety of test and measurement equipment.</li><li>Working knowledge of electronic and electro-mechanical testing principles.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.</li><li>Ability to identify and report discrepancies and nonconforming conditions.</li><li>Basic computer skills, including data entry and use of manufacturing systems.</li><li>Effective verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and within a team environment.</li><li>Strong organizational and time-management skills.</li></ul>  Teledyne and all of our employees are committed to conducting business with the highest ethical standards.
