Other duties may be assigned.<ul><li>Researches and analyzes data such as customer design proposal, specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility of design or application.</li><li>Specify and/or design tooling fixtures, special machinery, and equipment to facilitate the manufacture of parts and assemblies.</li><li>Recommends and implements process improvements that will enhance manufacturing, quality and reduce cost of parts and assemblies.</li><li>Interfaces with other engineers in fabrication of equipment, and development of methods and procedures for testing products or systems.</li><li>Directs and coordinates fabrication and installation activities to ensure products and systems conform to engineering design and customer specifications.</li><li>Coordinates operation, maintenance, and repair activities to obtain optimum utilization of machines and equipment.</li><li>Daily availability to include evenings and weekends when necessary to reach goals and deadlines.</li></ul>Education and/or ExperienceBachelor's degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university in Mechanical Engineering or closely related technical field and 3-4 years of directly related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Other Required Experience:<ul><li>Proficiency with Solidworks.</li><li>Ability to multi-task and set priorities in a fast-paced environment.</li></ul><ul><li>Ability to interface efficiently in a cross-functional group in an engineering and production environment.</li><li>Good mechanical aptitude.</li></ul><ul><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills.</li></ul>The anticipated hiring range for this position is $80,000 to $150,000 per year.  Salary Range: $72,800.00-$97,100.000The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate.
