The Sr. Financial Analyst is instrumental in conducting complex financial analysis to guide strategic business decisions. Sr. Financial Analyst Responsibilities:<ul><li>Supports the overall forecast and budget process for Smart Metering through understanding of revenue, margins, expenses, capital projects, investments, headcount, etc. ensuring clear understanding of all variances and critical evaluation of input. (Key result: All variances from forecast, budget and prior year can be adequately explained, and improvements that can be made to enhance future forecast accuracy).</li><li>Provide oversight and management of weekly status meetings of operations, labor and overhead spending to track efficiencies and variance to budget and forecast</li><li>Drive business and financial insights into the senior operations management team through data and analytics</li><li>Monitor all inventory levels and ensure that inventory is aligned to budget and forecast expectations</li><li>Support overall coordination and execution of the Smart Metering budget, strategic plan, and forecasting activities, understanding the year over year changes.</li><li>Provide daily, weekly, and monthly status updates to senior leadership on financial results and comparisons to latest estimates and forecasts</li><li>Work closely with CI Leadership and provide savings guidance guidelines and present Productivity results to Senior Leadership</li><li>Implement standard processes and procedures to ensure data integrity and completeness</li><li>Ad hoc analysis as needed by management.  Time would usually be of the essence in these analyses.</li></ul> Sr. Financial Analyst Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance</li><li>MBA or Advanced Degree preferred</li><li>CPA or CMA preferred</li><li>Minimum of 5 years related financial work experience</li><li>Proven analytical ability and leadership capabilities</li><li>Demonstrated experience in financial modeling and planning required.</li><li>Ability to work on multiple projects and manage priorities simultaneously</li><li>Strong analytical, critical thinking, prioritization, and time management skills</li><li>Ability to work effectively across multiple time zones</li><li>Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to communicate to non-finance team members</li><li>Expert in Microsoft Office applications and databases.  Experience with OneStream and Business Objects preferred.</li><li>ERP experience preferred.</li></ul>Xylem does not provide sponsorship for this position.The estimated salary range for this position is $97,000 to $112,000 plus bonus.   Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.  At Xylem we offer a competitive compensation package with a generous benefit package, including Medical, Dental, Vision plans, 401(k) with company contribution, paid time off, paid parental leave and tuition reimbursement.#LI-RR1#LI-HybridJoin the global Xylem team to be a part of innovative technology solutions transforming water usage, conservation, and re-use.
