We require a seasoned expert who thrives in working closely with clients, project coordinators, and internal departments to provide seamless automation solutions. The perfect candidate will demonstrate a strong zeal for creativity and a dedication to enhancing manufacturing systems.What you get to do<ul><li>Work together with customers, project managers, and team members to outline, record, and grasp project requirements.</li><li>Create estimates for the completion of process control projects.</li><li>Design and develop electrical and instrumentation systems related to the control of industrial processes and environments.</li><li>Specify and integrate field instrumentation such as pressure, flow, temperature, and level sensors.</li><li>Select and apply intrinsically safe instrumentation and wiring practices for hazardous environments, ensuring compliance with relevant safety standards.</li><li>Develop bills of materials, request vendor quotations, and oversee the procurement of electrical and instrumentation components.</li><li>Ensure electrical designs are functional, robust, and cost-effective, adhering to industry standards and safety protocols.</li><li>Apply project management skills to maintain scope, schedule, and budget.</li><li>Conduct site acceptance tests and support equipment installation and commissioning.</li><li>Work on site and company-specific initiatives as requested.</li></ul>What you bring to the Team<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a similar field.</li><li>At least 8 years of background in electrical engineering and instrumentation in industrial automation or manufacturing, or a blend of academic qualifications and proven industry practice.</li><li>Proficiency in industrial control systems, instrumentation, and hazardous area design.</li><li>Previous involvement in risky settings and detailing intrinsically secure equipment.</li><li>Experience in process environments such as chemical, glass batch, food, or pharmaceutical industries.</li><li>Project estimation experience is essential.</li><li>Demonstrates strong leadership qualities and excellent interpersonal skills, capable of exerting influence even without direct authority.</li><li>Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities, encompassing the skill to educate and address varied audiences effectively.</li><li>Strong problem-solving, risk assessment, and analytical skills.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and collaboratively.</li><li>Ability to be on-site at our offices in Rochester, NY, and/or Rush, NY.</li></ul>Location: Position is based onsite at our Rochester or Rush, NY locations.The base salary range for this position is $94,000 – $141,000 per year. This range represents the Company’s good faith estimate of the base compensation for this role at the time of posting.  Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, skills, qualifications, internal equity, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for annual incentive compensation and/or long-term incentives, subject to Company plans.
