Dynapower, Part of Sensata Technologies, is seeking a Software Design Engineer specializing in real-time NI Linux and LabVIEW development platform for development, integration, and validation of deterministic control and monitoring software for mission critical military applications across land, sea, and air platforms. This role focuses on delivering high reliability applications that comply with stringent military specifications, including environmental, cybersecurity, and performance standards required across multiple MIL standards and specific SOW shalls. The engineer designs and implements software architectures on NI real-time hardware platforms, leveraging LabVIEW for rapid development, hardware in the loop testing, and automated system verification. A key responsibility includes generating and maintaining comprehensive software documentation requirements, design artifacts, interface control documents, test procedures, verification reports, and configuration records to ensure full compliance with applicable military standards and formal review processes. The position emphasizes rigorous adherence to military quality and reliability requirements, including disciplined configuration management and structured software lifecycle documentation.
