Working at Freudenberg: We will wow your world!<h1>Responsibilities:</h1><ul><li>Coordinate hiring and onboarding activities for the site, including scheduling interviews, coordinating pre-employment screenings, and managing onboarding documentation and conducting new hire orientation.</li><li>Maintain and update HR systems and employee files, including new hires, job changes, pay updates, and terminations.</li><li>Process payroll in ADP for hourly, non-exempt and exempt employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with California wage and hour requirements.</li><li>Administer the onboarding and off boarding lifecycle, including new hire setup, system entry, orientation, exit interviews, and managing exit paperwork.</li><li>Create, update, and maintain personnel files in compliance with federal, state, and company requirements.</li><li>Provide first-level support to employees regarding benefits, leaves of absence, and general policy questions; escalate complex issues as needed.</li><li>Support employee engagement and recognition activities, including service awards and site events.</li><li>Assist with HR reporting, audits, and month-end metrics, ensuring data accuracy and timeliness.</li><li>Serve as a visible and approachable HR presence on the manufacturing floor, supporting employees and supervisors with day-to-day HR needs.</li></ul><h1>Qualifications:</h1><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent required.</li><li>3+ years of HR Admin support related to benefits, leaves of absence, and HR policy administration.</li><li>2+ years of hands-on payroll processing experience with experience in hourly, non-exempt in a manufacturing environment.</li><li>Working knowledge of California payroll laws and wage &amp; hour requirements, including overtime, meal and rest periods, and timekeeping compliance.</li><li>Experience supporting hiring coordination and onboarding in a manufacturing or operations environment.</li><li>Familiarity with HRIS and payroll systems such as Workday and ADP.</li><li>Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage confidential information.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools.</li><li>Strong customer service mindset with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with employees at all levels.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.</li><li>Familiarity with regulated manufacturing environments (medical device, life sciences, or similar).</li><li>Experience working with high-volume hourly populations and shift-based work schedules.</li><li>Bilingual capabilities aligned with site needs (e.g., English/Spanish).</li></ul>The expected salary range for this position is $29.00 to $30.00 USD hourly, depending on skills, experience, and qualifications‎ ‎ The Freudenberg Group is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion.
