The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and improving manufacturing processes and procedures to meet production goals while maintaining the highest quality standards. Responsibilities:  <ul><li>Develop, evaluate, and continuously improve battery manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and increase product quality. Implement best practices to optimize production.  </li></ul><ul><li>Support manufacturing quality by establishing and maintaining rigorous quality control standards, ensuring that the batteries meet or exceed industry and company specifications.  </li></ul><ul><li>Identify and recommend state-of-the-art equipment and technologies that can be integrated into the production process to improve product performance, reliability, and yield.  </li></ul><ul><li>Investigate and resolve process-related issues, such as defects, deviations, and inefficiencies, using root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques.  </li></ul><ul><li>Ensure that all processes and equipment adhere to safety protocols and industry standards. Implement and maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.  </li></ul><ul><li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of processes, procedures, and equipment specifications. Create process manuals and train production staff on best practices.  </li></ul><ul><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&amp;D, production, and quality assurance, to ensure the smooth transition of new products from development to full-scale manufacturing.  </li></ul><ul><li>Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the manufacturing engineering department, identifying opportunities to enhance processes and product performance.  </li></ul>Qualifications: <ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, or a related field). A Master's degree is a plus.  </li></ul><ul><li>Proven experience in battery manufacturing processes, preferably in lithium-ion or other advanced battery technologies.  </li></ul><ul><li>Strong understanding of materials science and battery components.  </li></ul><ul><li>Knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or other process improvement methodologies.  </li></ul><ul><li>Proficiency in process simulation and modeling software.  </li></ul><ul><li>Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.  </li></ul><ul><li>Strong communication and teamwork abilities.  </li></ul><ul><li>Willingness to adapt to new technologies and industry trends.  </li></ul><ul><li>Knowledge of environmental and safety regulations related to battery manufacturing. </li></ul><ul><li>Prior experience with adhesion and dispense processes in battery assembly operations is considered a significant advantage. </li></ul>Peak Energy Core Values  Speed Through Focus: Prioritize what matters most and execute quickly without distractions.  Mission Over Self: Put the company's mission and team success ahead of individual interests.  Face the Brutal Truth: Embrace honesty, even when it’s uncomfortable, to make informed decisions.  Be a Good Person: Treat everyone with respect and integrity, fostering a positive and ethical work environment.  The salary range for this role is $90,000 - $140,000, with actual pay varying based on work location, experience, and skills.
