In this role, you will support our Controls and Manufacturing Engineering teams with the development, installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of high-tech manufacturing equipment and processes. As a Senior/Level IV Technician, you will manage build and delivery schedules, lead daily shop operations, review BOMs and schematics, and mentor up-and-coming technicians. <h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li style="font-size:12pt;">Lead daily fabrication tasks, manage shop workflows, and maintain build and delivery schedules for custom industrial control panels. </li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Review, redline, and provide feedback on electrical schematics, layouts, and drafting quality to optimize designs. </li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Provide accurate time and material estimates for new equipment builds and system upgrades. </li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Troubleshoot complex process or equipment issues and maintain/upgrade existing control system infrastructure. </li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Onboard, train, and mentor entry-level technicians in fabrication and electrical standards. </li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Oversee and maintain control shop parts and component inventories. </li></ul><h3>Qualifications &amp; Skills</h3><ul><li style="font-size:12pt;">Strong electrical aptitude with demonstrated experience working on industrial equipment and manufacturing processes. </li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Hands-on experience wiring 480V power systems as well as complex low-voltage controls and instrumentation. </li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Practical knowledge of UL508A requirements, NEC, and NFPA 79 standards. </li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Proven mechanical layout precision, metal cutting capability, and experience with stud welding or light welding for control cabinets. </li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). </li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Ability to prioritize tasks, meet tight deadlines, and solve problems under pressure in a fast-paced environment. </li></ul><h3>Physical Requirements</h3><ul><li style="font-size:12pt;">Ability to perform the essential job functions consistent, safely, and successfully with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. </li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards. </li></ul><h3>Working Conditions</h3><ul><li style="font-size:12pt;">Environment: Industrial shop and manufacturing facility environment (indoors/outdoors). </li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Ability to work in challenging working conditions, which may include exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, and temperature extremes, while protected by PPE, for extended periods of time. </li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Essential physical requirements such as climbing, standing, stooping, lifting, precision hand motion, or typing. </li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Occasional work weekends, nights, or being on-call as a regular part of the job. </li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Occasional travel requirements.</li></ul><div>The position is full-time.
